This presentation aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the growing cruise industry in Busan Port. It is expected that the Port of Busan will take another leap forward as a high value-added port given the explosive growth the cruise industry has experienced in the past year. In 2015 the total number of cruise ships calling and passengers visiting Busan will hit an all-time high, and Busan Port Authority has a dream to be a leading port in the north-east Asian cruise industry which is expected to be the world's second largest cruise market in 2020. To attract more cruise lines and tourists, BPA and the local (central) government are planning to strengthen the infrastructural, cultural and touristic competitiveness of Busan City.
