Patrick Bol

Patrick Bol is a container terminal executive with over 25 years of experience in the port business, from ship deck to executive management. He managed terminal operations and led the business units in Rotterdam, Indonesia, Djibouti, Busan, Saigon and now holds the position of Director Global Operations of DP World’s head office. Passionate about innovation and conceptual terminal design, automation and improving terminal logistics by applying the latest technology, he takes great pride in optimising logistical processes and achieving the impossible in the most challenging environments, from Africa to Europe, building and motivating multi-cultural teams that can achieve the highest productivity levels in a cost efficient manner. Solving complex operational challenges by applying LEAN six sigma principles is one of his priorities.
